Coach Park Hang Seo visits HAGL Club and LPBank HAGL Academy
Early on May 23, Coach Park Hang Seo visited the HAGL Football Club and the LPBank HAGL Academy. He was welcomed by Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc, Chairman of HAGL FC; Mr. Nguyen Tan Anh, CEO of HAGL FC; Mr. Vu Tien Thanh, Technical Director and Director of LPBank HAGL Academy; along with nearly 200 players from the first team and youth squads.
During the visit, Coach Park expressed his deep gratitude to Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc — a close friend who had invited him to Vietnam and quietly supported him throughout his 5 years and 4 months leading the national team. Coach Park also shared his excitement about taking on a new role as Vice President of the Korea Football Association, where he will oversee the national team’s journey to the 2026 World Cup. In return, Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc wished Coach Park great success in his new role, hoping he would help the Korean team repeat their historic achievement of reaching the World Cup semifinals in 2002, when Park served as assistant to legendary coach Guus Hiddink, and continue to support the development of Vietnamese football.
After visiting the facilities and talking with coaches and players, Coach Park commended the HAGL Football Club and the LPBank HAGL Academy for their efforts in youth development and training for ‘‘the future of Vietnamese football.’’ He highly valued the club’s clear and consistent direction: “One philosophy, one method, one desire to win - HAGL Warriors,” a vision set by the club and academy leadership with strong determination to meet the AFC’s 3-star academy standards...
